Implementation of the Methacholine Bronchial Challenge Test in Ukraine

Implementation of the Methacholine Bronchial Challenge Test in Ukraine

To improve the diagnosis of bronchial asthma, Yuria-Pharm LLC is launching a pilot project for the implementation of the methacholine bronchial challenge test in Ukraine.

The methacholine bronchial challenge test is one of the recommended methods for diagnosing bronchial asthma in patients who do not demonstrate obstructive changes during spirometry and is included in international standards for the diagnosis of bronchial asthma.

During the implementation period of the pilot project, participants will be provided, free of charge, with:

  • the METHACHOLINE-CHEMOTEKA solution kit;
  • a standardized test methodology;
  • consumables (a Ulizer Home nebulizer (one-time provision) and individual inhalation kits);
  • salbutamol inhalation solution (Nebutamol) for rapid recovery following bronchospasm;
  • training of healthcare personnel on the proper performance of the test.

The quantity of kits and consumables will be discussed individually with each healthcare institution according to its needs.

Project participants are healthcare institutions that express a desire to participate in the project.

PARTICIPATION IN THE PROJECT IS FREE OF CHARGE.
