Neuro Impact Challenge: launch of the competition for innovative solutions in neurology

We are honored to announce the start of registration for the Neuro Impact Challenge: “Innovative Solutions for the Treatment of Neurological Diseases” – a project aimed at supporting groundbreaking ideas that can improve diagnostics, treatment, and the quality of life of patients with neurological disorders.

Participation in the Neuro Impact Challenge provides each team with the opportunity to:

  • Receive practical recommendations from leading experts in pharmaceuticals, medicine, biotechnology, and business.

  • Network and exchange ideas with like-minded individuals, startup founders, researchers, and potential partners.

  • Compete for valuable prizes, as well as the chance to bring their ideas to life in collaboration with YURiA-PHARM.

Task for Participants

Participants must propose an innovative solution in the form of a medical device or pharmaceutical product aimed at treating, improving the condition, or diagnosing patients with neurological disorders.

The proposed solution must meet the following criteria:

1. Relevance: A concept of a medical device or pharmaceutical product designed for the treatment, improvement of condition/quality of life, or diagnosis of the listed nosologies. Listed nosologies

2. Scientific justification: The proposed innovative solution must include:

  • Mechanism of action
  • Target group
  • Expected clinical effects
  • References to relevant scientific sources confirming the feasibility of the proposed solution – the availability of experimental laboratory, preclinical, or clinical studies is encouraged
  • List of advantages over existing solutions, products, or approaches currently used for treatment, quality of life improvement, or diagnostics of the listed nosologies
  • International potential and scalability of the proposed solution

3. Innovativeness: The solution must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • A new technology, substance, or material
  • A new method of applying known technologies, substances, or materials
  • An innovative solution with no registered or commercially available analogs on the market

4. Feasibility: Existing technologies and scientific approaches must make it possible to implement the proposed solution today.

Who can participate?

Students, researchers, doctors, innovators, inventors, startup teams, and IT/biotech specialists with ready-to-develop ideas.
