Ringer’s Malate
Ringer’s Malate is a balanced isotonic electrolyte solution in which the electrolyte concentrations correspond to their plasma concentrations. Ringer’s Malate is used to correct extracellular fluid losses. The purpose of the solution is to restore and maintain normal osmotic conditions in the extracellular and intracellular space.
Indications
The drug Ringer’s Malate is used to replace extracellular fluid losses in the event of isotonic dehydration and in the presence or threat of acidosis.
